Letter 4 · ¶ 28

Victor Frankenstein, rescued by Walton's ship, recounts the final leg of his pursuit of his creature across the Arctic ice before succumbing to exhaustion and dying aboard the vessel. He rouses the mutinous sailors with a speech about glory and honor, and on his deathbed asks Walton to continue his quest for vengeance against the monster, though he ultimately releases him from the obligation.
